19 Feb 2022 Hargeisa - The Somaliland Civil Service Commission organized a meeting to
discuss the introduction of new government employee ID cards. The meeting was attended by a technical committee comprised of the Directors General of the government ministries.
 
The IT department of the Civil Service Commission presented the features of the new ID cards at the meeting, including its security parameters and the procedures to roll out the new ID cards. The IT department also demonstrated how the cards can be used for authentication and verification of government employees and for accessing certain government services.
The participants of the meeting actively engaged in the discussion and provided valuable insights into the implementation of the new ID cards.
