Abdiaziz Hersi Warsame is the current Chairperson of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) of Somaliland, appointed on January 16, 2025 by H.E. President Muse Bihi Abdi under Article 90 of the Somaliland Constitution and Civil Service Law No. 97/2022. With a career marked by institutional reform, transparency, and capacity building, he now leads a transformative agenda at CSC focused on digital modernization, meritocracy, and global engagement.
His leadership was officially inaugurated on January 21, 2025, during a formal handover ceremony in Hargeisa.
