Mr. Khaalid Jaamac Qodax Chairman of CSC
Mr. Khalid Jama Qodax is the current Chairman of Somaliland civil Service Commission, Civil Service Institute and Somaliland Local Government Institute. In September 2021, the President of Somaliland nominated him to lead the public sector reform.
Mr. Qodax graduated from the University of Hargeisa in his Bachelor’s Degree on Business administration and gained his Postgraduate Degrees from Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Hargeisa.
He is a certified manager from Chartered Management Institute from UK and he has more than ten years of conducting research and training with different natures as well as a humanitarian interventions expert.
Mr. Khalid is an advocacy and lobbying expert, researcher, and trainer with more than ten years of experience in working with humanitarian organizations including Somaliland civil society and Somaliland media institutions. He is the author of two books and several articles and was the former vice chairman of Somaliland Writer’s Association. He is also the Chief Editor of Kobciye Magazine in the United Kingdom.
